Ant’s first signature charted highly on top ten sneaker of the year lists across our community in 2024, due in no small part to adidas’ extraordinary marketing — which was more about letting Ant be Ant rather than getting overly nuanced. In that regard, the Anthony Edwards 2 is already keeping the line’s momentum going, with adidas releasing several commercials reminiscent of Spike Lee’s work with Jordan in the ’90s. adidas also chose to unveil the sneaker during Ant’s first-ever China tour, which gave us plenty of viral moments.
