Though the Lakers were abysmal during Kobe’s final season, his last game stands as one of the most memorable send-offs in sports. His teammates almost certainly knew he wasn’t going to pass. In one final showing of the “Mamba Mentality,” Kobe recorded his sixth 60-point game on a staggering 50 (!!) field goal attempts – more than any other player in a single game in the 21st century.
