It’s a bustling time in women’s basketball footwear. To be sure, the big headlines are the impending launch of the Caitlin 1 and Sabrina 4, as well as the ongoing success of the A’Two and Angel Reese 1. But don’t count out the Three Stripes. Despite not carrying a sig athlete in the W since Candace Parker moved from endorsee to executive, there have been plenty of moments to celebrate for their sponsored women, as Kelsey Plum, Satou Sabally, and Chelsea Grey can all attest.

Even Anthony Edwards is gearing up for WNBA All-Star, now joined by another Midwestern icon as a Sophie Cunningham PE for the adidas Crazy Energy comes to light. The Fever swingwoman earns her first public colorway under the German giant, outfitting the Crazy Energy in another highlight for a frequent on-court choice of hers. A dreamy pink gradient is the clear central design choice, but baby blue peering through the siding and flares of orange branding and rubber underfoot add to what is a vibrant look overall.

Crucially, this also marks one of the debut looks for this Crazy Energy build, obviously coming in the wake of the Plus but delivering a more traditional silhouette with pointed mesh tongues and collars, and breathability slits at the quarter. The performance package overall, including Lightstrike cushioning, remains untouched.

The adidas Crazy Energy “Sophie Cunningham” PE is confirmed for a July 24th launch, retailing for just $120. Catch official images below and keep our “Where to Buy” section within reach for pick-up links upon arrival.
