The colorful new edition of A’ja Wilson’s upcoming signature shoe was first spotted on Brittney Griner, leading many to speculate that the design was a special Player Exclusive created exclusively for the Phoenix Mercury star. Now, Wilson herself has officially unveiled the sneaker, giving fans a closer look at one of the most playful colorways yet for her growing signature line.
Borrowing from the iconic miniature car toy brand, the A’Two features yellow flames with blue-tipped accents racing across the upper before fading into a blacked-out heel. The fiery motif extends to Wilson’s personal logos on the tongue.
The reveal also suggests that Nike may be building a larger storytelling theme around Wilson’s favorite childhood toys and games. Earlier, she debuted an UNO-inspired A’Two, making the “Hot Wheels” edition the second known concept to draw from a beloved childhood pastime and further hinting at some collaborative releases to come.
