The UConn brand has become synonymous with March Madness.
It makes sense, then, that despite entering the Dance as a 2-seed, the UConn men are the most popular pick to win the NCAA Tournament, according to FanDuel.

The Huskies were taken by more people in the aftermath of Selection Sunday than any other team, including all four No. 1 seeds. They’ve got +3500 odds to win it all, a pretty good payout, all things considered. UConn ranked below top seeds Duke, Arizona, Michigan and Florida in terms of odds to win the national title.
Unsurprisingly, the UConn women, the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, are also the top choice on FanDuel. The Huskies have -300 odds, meaning a $100 bet would only net $33 in winnings. Fellow top seeds UCLA (+700), South Carolina (+950) and Texas (+1000) have the next-best odds to win the title.
All of this means that America is betting on a Huskies dual national championship, which shouldn’t be off the books, as it happened in 2004 and 2014.
