Fans will get the chance to interact with Basketball Hall of Famer and Dan Hurley’s dad, Bob Hurley Sr., in a special appearance in South Windsor next week.
Hurley Sr. will appear at The Shops at Evergreen Walk on Thursday, June 11, for a live Q&A session with fans, and will sign autographs after. The event is free and open to the public.
Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the green, as Hurley will share stories and insights from his legendary high school coaching career at St. Anthony in New Jersey, as well as memories of raising his two sons, Dan and Bobby, both of whom have gone on to make their own indelible impact on the basketball world. The interactive conversation will be hosted by a special guest emcee, according to a press release.
Hurley will then sign autographs at The Gampel Collection, a retailer for UConn memorabilia, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
No tickets or registration is required for the event.
