The New York Knicks waived center Alex Len and wings Garrison Mathews and Matt Ryan. Len and Mathews were signed to Exhibit 9 contracts. Ryan was signed to an Exhibit 10 contract and is expected to join the Westchester Knicks for the G League season.
The Knicks appear to have set their regular season roster with 14 players on standard contracts and all three two-way spots filled. Landry Shamet and Mohamed Diawara appear to have made the opening roster. New York will carry an open standard roster spot into the regular season, because they don’t have room to fill it under their second-apron hard cap.
