Thanks to a certain “decision” made 16 years ago, Giannis Antetokounmpo already has a strong team-friendly colorway to draw from during his tenure with the Miami Heat. The Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” has taken on a legacy far larger than the sneaker itself, resurfacing in the cultural consciousness with every adjacent release. Given Giannis is the first Nike signature athlete to suit up for Miami since LeBron, we’d be shocked if the Giannis Freak 8 doesn’t eventually get a proper “South Beach” colorway. For now, this upcoming Immortality 5 is the closest we’ve got.
Official images show Hyper Pink across the midsole accent and main portion of the upper, filling one half of the “South Beach” equation as we’ve come to know it. The tongue, outsole, and side windows come in black for contrast, complemented by Volt hits on the Swooshes and Giannis logos. The absence of teal means this isn’t technically a true “South Beach” makeup, but you get the idea.
The Nike Giannis Immortality 5 “Hyper Pink” lands Fall 2026 for $85 in men’s sizes. See official images below if these might slot into your hoops rotation.
