Tyrese Haliburton’s achilles injury has forced PUMA Hoops to take some unconventional routes when it comes to marketing his debut signature model. Thankfully, having Salehe Bembury on board makes things a bit easier. The PUMA Hali 1 designer has been playing a leading role in unveiling upcoming colorways, here giving us a detailed look at an upcoming grey style.
The Hali 1’s quirky tooling makes it an ideal canvas for loud, playful colorways that match Tyrese’s energy – but that’s not the case here. Instead, this style is fairly reserved, leaning toward a New Balance “dad shoe” aesthetic more suited for hoopers who prefer to let their game do the talking. Monochrome shades of grey cover the entire sneaker, save for white on the squiggly midsole portion. The PUMA Hali 1 “Poppy Pink” is next up on the release calendar, but we wouldn’t be surprised if this pair follows shortly after.
See the grey PUMA Hali 1 in detail below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page handy for updates. No concrete release info has been confirmed as of this writing, but the sneaker is likely to drop Holiday 2025/Spring 2026 for $130 in men’s sizes.
