The Nike GT Future Enters The DMV’s “Unseen Hours” Batch

The height of “cherry blossom” season in Washington D.C. is in the rear view, but Nike is dead set on keeping the energy alive into the summer. Paging back in the Swoosh’s recent moves, the “Unseen Hours” collection celebrated the hoops tradition of the East Coast, particularly centered on New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut with looks for the Ja 3, GT Future, and GT Cut 1.

That same concept is now moving shop, heading to the Mid-Atlantic for a second series. Already that change of location was confirmed by a rosy Nike GT Cut 1; the GT Future pictured here only solidifes their efforts. And yes, the ornamental take center stage once again. That’s not only when it comes to the “Hyper Pink” exteriors, but also on “Unseen Hours” patches on the right tongue, where DC/MD/VA orbit a geometric interpretation of the flowering tree. If the lace units are any indication, this shoe is particularly dedicated to Virginia; that despite Wale being the first to debut this colorway all the way back in March.
