The Nike Sabrina 3 Says “Welcome To Miami”

For a real stretch, especially as CBA negotiations lingered longer and longer, it felt like the landscape of the W would entirely change this offseason. Many of the league’s veterans had knowingly timed their contracts to expire as a new agreement took effect, obviously already paying off for some of the game’s best, but also threatening relocation for some of those same talents.

Luckily for Liberty fans, Sabrina Ionescu is a New Yorker still, putting pen to paper on a max deal that ties her to the chip-winners through 2028. Fittingly, the Nike Sabrina 4 has already penned plenty to the squad as it plots its market debut, including a nod to the team’s origins. Yet even as we await her next shoe’s arrival in July, the Sabrina 3 has more to say.

Shown here is a “Welcome to Miami” grade school colorway, likely alluding to Ionescu’s time as part of Phantom BC in Unrivaled, all of her action taking place in the league’s South Florida headquarters. With Under Armour holding sponsorship rights, there’s understandably a lack of outright allusions, yet the globe logo on the insoles and a beachy/sunset colorway overall hit on team pride and the city’s scenic vistas, respectively.

The Nike Sabrina 3 “Welcome to Miami” releases on May 1st, retailing for $112 in GS sizing. It’s currently unclear whether adult sizing will accompany the version shown below.
