Adrien Broner Accused of Faking Being Drunk After Women Taste His Drink

Adrien Broner’s latest live stream sparked fresh debate when two women sitting with the former four-weight world champion sampled his drink and immediately claimed his cup contained juice rather than alcohol.

“My mouth is so clean one hundred percent. You not even drinking. You scamming us. It’s just juice!” one of the women declared after taking a swig from Broner’s cup.

The clip quickly spread across social media, with many viewers questioning whether the former champion had been pretending to be drunk after weeks of streams dominated by apparent drinking.

Adrien Broner

Broner’s streaming career has become known as much for alcohol as boxing.

Almost every stream seems to feature drinks close at hand, with the former champion often appearing heavily intoxicated. Previous broadcasts have shown Broner gagging while drinking, looking close to being sick and even appearing to pass out on camera.

Those moments prompted growing concern throughout boxing. As WBN previously reported, Ryan Garcia publicly urged Broner to stop drinking after seeing clips from the streams, while Gervonta Davis went as far as making a wellness check on the former world titleholder.

Broner’s recent revelation that he received a check worth almost $400,000 from one of his old fights also generated concern, with many fans fearing the money would disappear as quickly as it arrived.

Drink Debate

After tasting Broner’s drink and insisting it contained only juice, viewers immediately began questioning whether the former champion had exaggerated his condition during previous streams.

Others weren’t convinced, noting that the women themselves appeared to have enjoyed a few drinks during the evening.

Whatever viewers choose to believe, the episode is another bizarre chapter in Broner’s streaming career.

If the women were right, the footage offered a reassuring moment after weeks of broadcasts that had prompted widespread concern about Broner’s wellbeing.

The youngest four-weight world champion in boxing history has found a way to rebuild his finances after earlier money troubles, but for many supporters, Broner’s health matters far more than another comeback fight.
