“Yes. It’s like they want you to skip everybody else just to fight the person that I genuinely love just cuz you said you don’t want to fight him now. It’s like skip him just to go to Shakur,” said Keyshawn to Fighthype.

“At this point, bro, I’m guessing I’m numb to it. It don’t really make me feel nothing anymore. I just called out Oscar Dorte and Lamont Rose, and somehow Shakur still came up with a picture.”

Davis later admitted the fight could still happen under the right circumstances.

“500 million we will fight. Guaranteed. Sign contract,” said Keyshawn, revealing his asking price to fight Shakur.

The unbeaten contender also compared his current situation to what Stevenson dealt with before changing public opinion with his recent performances.

“There was Shakur had a crazy narrative two years ago, a year ago. He the most boring fighter in boxing, he can’t sell, all that type stuff. Now everybody knows Shakur. He had one fight, and now he done flipped the script,” said Keyshawn.

“I was there with him. I was on the phone calls with him during those times. I knew what he was going through. I just put myself in the same box. Ain’t nobody really trying to fight me right now for obvious reasons.”

Davis claimed fighters became more cautious after his recent wins, especially after stopping Jamaine Ortiz.

“Last fight we was all there. We all seen the video when I walked up to Deon Haney. I walked up to Bill Haney, and I said, ‘Let’s make the fight happen.’ He said, ‘Stand on your word. I beat Germaine.’ I knocked Germaine out, and now I don’t hear nothing from Bill for real,” said Keyshawn.

“We also had closed door conversations. I got a manager now. They scared of me, bro. Be real with you. They scared of me, bro.”

Keyshawn said that Oscar Duarte was the opponent he originally wanted before being matched into a rematch with Nahir Albright.

“I sure damn did. I’d love to fight Oscar Duarte. I feel like that’s a major fight. I was calling him out to fight here.”
