Gervonta “Tank” Davis is back in action tonight, defending his WBA lightweight title against Lamont Roach in the main event of a PBC pay-per-view from Prime Video.
Davis, 30, is fighting for the first time since last spring’s win over Frank Martin, facing the 29-year-old Roach, who is stepping up to 135 lbs for the first time in his career in a serious fight. The PPV undercard will feature two more title fights, both at 140 lbs, as Alberto Puello takes on Sandor Martin for Puello’s WBC belt, and Jose Valenzuela defends his WBA title against Gary Antuanne Russell.
