Another prominent boxing figure has shared their thoughts about the potential super fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.
The pound-for-pound superstars are reportedly very close to finalising a showdown, which is likely to take place in September, with Las Vegas as the probable location.
Both men have enjoyed an abundance of success throughout their glittering boxing careers, as they prepare to do battle in what could be one of the biggest fights in the sport’s history. It is expected that Crawford will move up to 168lbs to challenge the Mexican icon for his unified WBC, WBA and WBO super middleweight titles.
One man who has had his say on the potential match-up is two-weight world champion turned commentator and analyst, Tim Bradley.
Speaking on his own YouTube channel, Bradley predicted a comprehensive victory for Crawford, who will be stepping up two whole divisions to face the 34-year-old.
“I woke up 3am and something told me to study Canelo and study Crawford. Crawford is about to beat the sh*t out of Canelo Alvarez. I’m letting you know right now. He’s about to beat the breaks off of Canelo Alvarez.”
‘Bud’ has established himself as one of the greatest fighters of this generation, becoming an undisputed champion at both super lightweight and welterweight, as well as capturing world titles in four weight classes.
Standing in his way of even more greatness is a man who has dominated the super middleweight division for almost five years, defeating the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Jermell Charlo and Caleb Plant in his glittering reign at 168lbs.
Canelo will be keen on adding Crawford’s name to the list of incredible fighters he has defeated during his impressive campaign as a professional.
