Round-by-Round Notes
Round 1: Ennis comes out fast, landing solid shots. Zayas goes down and seems too easy to hit. Bad round for the champion.
Round 2: Another big round for the challenger. Zayas using the wrong tactics and getting tagged. Boots lands a huge right at the end of the round and seems unfazed by what Zayas is throwing.
Round 3: One of the rounds of the year, almost a 10-8 to Zayas who badly hurt Ennis more than once. An incredible comeback as both men refuse to take a backward step.
Round 4: An awesome fight. Ennis has thrown any gameplan out of the window. Lands several right hands and takes two solid lefts from Zayas. Close round.
Round 5: Absolute domination in the fifth after a massive uppercut from Boots. Zayas out on his feet for the remainer of the round after taking a nine count. Fight could be over.
Round 6: Zayas dances his way through the round trying to get his legs back. Boots took a round off and still won the session.
