Morning all.
Just a very quick Sunday blog for you as I’m kinda knackered after what was a brilliant night at Union Chapel last night. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and stayed afterwards for a chat, a drink, and a manly handshake and/or a hug. The show itself is always fun, but being able to connect with so many people from the community is genuinely a wonderful thing. While many people were in town for Arsenal, the biggest show in town obviously, many there last night came from far and wide just for the live pod, which is incredibly humbling. Thanks again ❤️.
Thanks also to James, Clive, Tim, Paul, and Elliot who make it such a pleasure when we’re on stage. Beforehand, I get nervous – even though we’ve done this many times before – and as I pace around backstage (my coping mechanism) their more outward calm is very helpful for me. Cheers fellas!
So, after a busy few days, today is a bit of a free one. Perhaps a Sunday roast somewhere, a pint or two, and watching some football will be in order. I guess the game with the most interest for us is West Ham away at Newcastle because if they win they’d climb out of the relegation zone, with Sp*rs not playing Chelsea until Tuesday. I’m absolutely focused on Arsenal and what we have to do, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep a beady eye on what’s happening elsewhere.
Speaking of Arsenal, we will have a Burnley preview podcast for you a little later on. Lewis is arriving in London this morning, so we’ll get together to have a chat about that game, and it’ll be available on Patreon around lunchtime.
Right, I said it would be quick, and it is. I need coffee, so I’m gonna go get some. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
