Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.
In this episode we look back at Saturday’s very enjoyable 3-0 win over Fulham. It’s one which certainly connected with the fans in the stadium, and we start by chatting about the reaction to the half-time whistle, before discussing an excellent first half with three goals, the impactful return of Bukayo Saka who got a goal and an assist, two goals and an excellent performance from Viktor Gyokeres, Leandro Trossard bringing some technical quality to the left, and how a handsome half-time lead and that kind of performance were just what everyone needed after some difficult experiences of late. There’s also a big chat about Myles Lewis-Skelly in midfield and whether this opens a door for him after a frustrating season, a look ahead to the game tomorrow night and its importance, as well as listener questions about Declan Rice, William Saliba, who might play left-back against Atletico Madrid, and lots more.
