Belgium demolished Tunisia 5-0 at Roi Baudouin in a dominant friendly display, with five different scorers showcasing their attacking prowess and clinical finishing.

Belgium came into this friendly fixture looking to build momentum and test their squad depth ahead of upcoming competitions. Tunisia traveled to Brussels seeking a competitive challenge against one of Europe’s stronger sides. The stage was set for an intriguing encounter between two teams with contrasting ambitions for the match.

Belgium struck first in the 28th minute when Leandro Trossard found the back of the net. The early goal set the tone for what would become a one-sided affair at the Roi Baudouin. Tunisia struggled to gain any foothold in the match as Belgium controlled possession and created chances at will.

The Belgian midfield dictated play throughout the opening half. Kevin De Bruyne pulled the strings from deep, while Jérémy Doku terrorized the Tunisia defense on the wing. Doku’s performance was exceptional, creating two assists despite not finding the net himself.

Tunisia received a major blow in the 49th minute when Ismail Gharbi picked up a yellow card. The midfielder’s discipline issues continued when he collected a second yellow in the 62nd minute, resulting in a straight red card. Playing with ten men made Belgium’s task even easier.

The second half saw Belgium shift into overdrive. Charles De Ketelaere doubled the lead in the 53rd minute with a composed finish. De Bruyne then added a third goal in the 65th minute, showcasing his world-class ability in front of goal.

Dodi Lukebakio came off the bench and made an immediate impact, scoring in the 85th minute. His clinical strike made it 4-0 and sent a clear message about Belgium’s attacking depth. Nicolas Raskin capped off the rout with a fifth goal in the 87th minute to seal a comprehensive victory.

Belgium’s statistics painted a picture of total dominance. They managed 27 total shots, with 12 finding the target. Belgium controlled 66 percent of possession and completed 568 passes at an 87 percent accuracy rate. Tunisia managed just one shot on target from seven attempts.

Jérémy Doku earned the highest individual rating of 10.0 for his influential performance. De Bruyne scored and rated 9.2, while Lukebakio and De Ketelaere both earned 8.5 ratings. Youri Tielemans contributed an assist and provided solid midfield control throughout.

This emphatic victory demonstrated Belgium’s attacking potential and squad strength. The five different goalscorers highlight the depth available to the coaching staff. Tunisia’s red card made the contest one-sided, but Belgium’s quality would have shone through regardless.

Belgium will take confidence from this performance heading into their next fixture. Tunisia will look to regroup and bounce back from a difficult evening in Brussels. The friendly served its purpose in allowing Belgium to build match fitness and test their attacking combinations.
