Competition: Bundesliga

Market: RB Leipzig win

Odds: 4/11 @ Pribet

Looking to extend their buffer in he Champions League chase, RB Leipzig will welcome Kiel to the Red Bull Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while RB Leipzig might have continued to show some glaring inconstancies this season, the Red Bulls are sat in the driving seat to book another lucrative Champions League ticket in 2025. Putting in an action-packed display away at Wolfsburg last time out as they eventually snatched a 3-2 victory, the German giants have secured consecutive Bundesliga wins for the first time this calendar year. Securing an eye-catching 3-1 romp agains Hoffenheim in their last appearance at the Red Bull Arena, Leipzig have notched a trio of goals in their back-to-back victories. Looking to take another giant leap towards a top-four finish this weekend, Saturday’s hosts will also be excited by their success on home soil. Heading into March’s international break with a 2-0 win against domestic rivals Borussia Dortmund, they have won three of their last four showdowns in front of their own supporters. It should also be highlighted, Leipzig have suffered just a single defeat the Red Bull Arena since the start of December.

As for the visitors, while Kiel might have made their historic Bundesliga return this season, the Storks have drastically failed to deal with the steep leap up in opposition. Sat rock-bottom of the table and limping their way to an immediate second-tier return, Marcel Rapp’s men have put just 18 points on the board and have cemented their spot as Germany’s whipping boys this year. Last seen falling to a 2-1 defeat at home against St. Pauli, Saturday’s guests have recorded just a single defeat from any of their previous 12 consecutive Bundesliga appearances – a run that stems all the way back to January 14th. Marking their return from March’s international break with a 3-0 drumming at the hands of Werder Bremen, Kiel have continued to show a string of glaring issues at both ends of the pitch. Slumping to a 2-0 loss when they welcomed RB Leipzig to town for their reverse Bundesliga showdown on December 7th, we are expecting a similar outcome this weekend.

Bet: RB Leipzig 4/11 to beat Kiel in Saturday’s Bundesliga battle @ Pribet
