With the Premier League’s festive schedule rolling onto Wednesday night, we are treated to another stacked schedule from across England’s elite.

As runaway leaders Arsenal hope to extend their buffer at the top of the table, we have six top-flight showdowns pencilled in from up and down the country.

For those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have taken a glance at some of the most attractive Premier League betting tips.

Wednesday, December 3rd

BST 19:30 Arsenal vs Brentford

Coming from behind away at historic rivals Chelsea over the weekend as they eventually left Stamford Bridge with a hard-fought 1-1 stalemate, Arsenal are universally regarded as the standout title contender this season.

Opening the midweek fixtures holding a five-point buffer over the chasing pack, Mikel Arteta’s men are sat in the driving seat to get their hands on a first Premier League title since way back in 2004.

Marking their return from November’s international break with a stunning 4-1 romp at home against arch-rivals Tottenham, Wednesday’s hosts will be looking to make another statement here.

Firing on all cylinders and winning all of their first five Champions League showdowns by an aggregate score of 14-1, Arsenal have also suffered just a single defeat across all competitions since opening up the 2025/26 campaign.

It should also be highlighted, Arteta’s runaway leaders have won all of their previous seven consecutive appearances at the Emirates – a run that stems back to a 1-1 draw against Manchester City on September 21st.

Although Brentford might have opened up the new campaign pencilled in as a standout relegation candidate, Wednesday’s guests have rightfully received a string of plaudits.

Securing a 3-1 victory at home against relegation scrappers Burnley over the weekend, Keith Andrews’ men have skyrocketed their way into the top-half of the Premier League standings.

However, facing what is a monumental challenge when they travel across the capital on Wednesday night, Brentford have continued to show some worrying issues on the road.

Last seen on their travels marking their return from November’s fortnight interval with a 2-1 loss at the hands of Brighton, the Bees have lost five of their previous six Premier League matchups away from the Gtech.

Despite potentially looking to ask some real questions in north London, Andrews’ side will be more than aware that they face a monumental challenge at the Emirates in midweek.

Tip: Arsenal over 1.5 cards @ 13/10

19:30 Wolves vs Nottingham Forest

Last seen over the weekend putting in a toothless performance as they slumped to a disappointing 2-0 loss at home against Brighton, Nottingham Forest are desperately searching for an immediate response here.

Nevertheless, while Sean Dyche might have only arrived have only arrived at the City Ground six weeks ago, the former Everton boss has certainly made a real impact.

Marking their return from November’s international break with a famous 3-0 romp away at defending Premier League champions Liverpool, Wednesday’s guests have won their other three appearances across all competitions.

Heading into the fortnight interval with a 3-1 victory against Leeds, Nottingham Forest have suffered just a sole defeat from any of their previous six appearances across all competitions.

Landing an empathic 3-0 win when they last travelled to the Midlands for a Premier League showdown back in January, Dyche’s side should be smelling a golden opportunity here.

While Rob Edwards might have only arrived at Molineux a fortnight ago, the ex-Middlesbrough boss has an almighty job on his hands.

Falling to a 1-0 loss away at bitter local rivals Aston Villa on Sunday, the Old Gold have broken a string of unwanted records this season and they have rightfully come under a huge amount of scrutiny.

Sat rock-bottom of the Premier League table, Wolves have remarkably put just two points on the board from any of their first 13 appearances and they already have one foot in the Championship.

Hit with consecutive 3-0 defeats against Chelsea and Fulham prior to November’s international break, Wednesday’s hosts have also continued to show some glaring defensive issues.

In fact, along with watching their EFL Cup adventure come to an end on October 29th as they fell to a 4-3 loss at home against Chelsea, Wolves have also shipped 28 goals in their first 13 Premier League appearances.

Tip: Wolves over 1.5 cards @ 8/15

20:15 Leeds vs Chelsea

While Chelsea might have eventually left Stamford Bridge with a single point against Arsenal over the weekend, Enzo Maresca’s men should take plenty of positives away from a stellar performance in west London.

Collecting a heavyweight Champions League scalp last week as they stormed their way to an empathic 3-0 romp against Spanish giants Barcelona, the mood in Chelsea’s camp should be at a real high.

Potentially regarded as a title dark horse this season, the former Leicester boss will certainly be smelling a golden opportunity when his squad travels to Yorkshire in midweek.

Heading into November’s international break with a 3-0 victory at home against Wolves, Maresca’s side have suffered just a single defeat from any of their previous 12 appearances across all competitions – a run that stems all the way back to September 27th.

Likewise, including a 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest on October 28th, Chelsea are unbeaten in their previous six showdowns away from Stamford Bridge (five wins, one draw).

Although Leeds might have signed off October with an essential 2-1 victory against fellow strugglers West Ham, Daniel Farke’s camp have come crashing back down to earth in a worrying fashion.

Suffering late heartbreak away at Manchester City on Saturday as they fell to a 3-2 loss at the Etihad, the former Norwich boss finds some serious pressure mounting on his shoulders.

Dropping into the relegation zone, Wednesday’s hosts have lost all of their previous four consecutive Premier League appearances by an aggregate score 11-4.

In fact, Leeds have also lost six of their last seven Premier League showdowns and they have a real battle on their hands in the race to avoid an immediate Championship return.

Hit with a 3-2 loss when they last met Chelsea back in February 2024 and losing four of their previous five meetings, we are expecting a similar outcome here.

Tip: Chelsea win @ 8/11
