I woke up late today.
I feel like I have nothing to say.
Sometimes I worry I say too much.
There’s often a lot to say.
Not today though.
I have nothing to say, so I think saying nothing is the right thing to do.
A wise man, whose words often got him into trouble, told me of his mantra: “Does this need to be said? Does this need to be said now? Does this need to be said by me?”
If this answer to any of those questions is ‘no’, then you say nothing. Which, is what I’m choosing to do now (mostly). I also strongly think it’s one which should be more widely utilised by, you know, everyone. People are always saying stuff, and most of the time it’d be better for them, and everyone else, if they didn’t.
So here we are.
I woke up late.
That’s a separate issue though. Time is irrelevant.
