Thiago Motta’s journey as Juventus’ head coach looks to end soon following reports that their management will sack him during the current international break. Reports from the media suggest that the Bianconeri’s leaders already prepared Igor Tudor as Motta’s replacement.

 Juventus to Sack Thiago Motta

Arriving with such huge anticipation this past summer, especially after his successful time with Bologna, many believe Motta can bring Juve back to their best. However, just as Juve’s season heading into its final stretches, it looks like the club’s management have lost their trust in the tactician.

Losing 4-0 against Atalanta, and 3-0 versus Fiorentina looked to be the last straw for the Bianconeri’s leaders. Already crashing out in the Champions League and Coppa Italia, Juve could also lose out on the fourth-place spot if their current negative trend continues.

Keen on changing their fate, reports are now suggesting that the Bianconeri have opted to end Motta’s tenure earlier than his initial contract. The Italo-Brazilian tactician signed a deal to manage Juve until 2027 but it looks like his project will be ending after just around 300 days.

Igor Tudor Set to Replace Motta at Juve

Not only preparing to sack Motta, the Bianconeri already have a replacement in line as their former player, Igor Tudor is set for the job. As reported by the media (via Fabrizio Romano), Juventus have already prepared the documents for Tudor and his appointment is just a matter of time.

Tudor has a relatively solid coaching experience including in Serie A with Udinese, Hellas Verona and the latest one, Lazio. The former defender might not have a prestigious CV but could be a solid choice to guide Juventus at least until the end of this season.

The coach will also have the option to extend his stay in Turin until July 2026, but that will depend on the club’s result this season. Juve are hoping that their decision to replace Motta with Tudor can give the club a boost to finish their season on a high.
