UEFA channel shared another exciting clip, showcasing exciting football skills, this time involving Manchester City’s winter, Jeremy Doku. The Belgium international was seen taking down Real Madrid star Rodrygo during both teams’ recent Champions League clash.
Doku Turn Of Pace Beats Madrid’s Rodrygo
Doku has been one of the main stars for Man City this season, giving them more than just exciting skills but also a strong impact in terms of results. The Belgium international was also one of the key figures in City’s success in beating Madrid in their UCL tie back on December 10.
Pep Guardiola’s men won 2-1 at Santiago Bernabeu, with goals from Nico O’Reilly, along with Erling Haaland’s spot kick. Meanwhile, Los Blancos’ only goal was scored by their Brazilian attacker, Rodrygo on 28 minutes.
Rodrygo put on a strong performance in that game, but even he was finding difficulty in stopping Doku’s quickness. As it was visible in UEFA’s video, the Belgium winger simply stunned his Brazilian counterpart with an excellent turn of pace.
