We are extremely proud to announce a landmark two-year partnership with global music icon and life-long supporter, @robbiewilliams.

The club said in a statement:

Port Vale Football Club are extremely proud to announce a landmark two-year partnership with global music icon and life-long supporter, Robbie Williams.

Through the exciting new partnership, Robbie will use his platform to shine a light on the club’s award-winning charitable work, as an Ambassador for Port Vale Foundation. His ‘RW’ mark will also feature prominently on the front of Port Vale’s home and away shirts in both 2026/27 and 2027/28.

Born and raised just a short distance from the club’s home at Vale Park, Robbie has supported the club since childhood and continues to follow Vale’s fortunes closely. He returned to Burslem in 2022 for a special homecoming concert at the stadium, with this partnership the latest chapter in both his and the club‘s story.

Robbie Williams said: “It feels pretty incredible, to be honest. Robbie Williams, on the front of a Port Vale shirt. It’s a match made in heaven, for me.

“I started going to the Vale when it was 50p for a junior supporter to get in. It takes a village to raise a child, and the Railway Paddock at Vale Park raised me.

“I’m back here and back involved because of [Chair and Co-Owner] Carol [Shanahan] and the family, and what they have created backstage. Being embraced again by the Port Vale family has been very important to me,and it feels wonderful.”

Port Vale Chief Executive Officer, Matt Hancock said: “This partnership means a huge amount to us here at the football club, and we are absolutely delighted to be working alongside Robbie. He is not only a global superstar, but also a genuine supporter of the club with a deep and personal connection to our town. It’s that authenticity which makes this so powerful.

“From the very first conversations, it was clear this was about Robbie’s life-long love for Port Vale and making a tangible difference to people’s lives. The support and exposure the partnership will give to the club and Foundation will help us reach more people, create more opportunities and continue using the club as a force for good.

“We’re grateful to Robbie and his team and can’t wait to see the partnership come to life, starting with the release of our new kits for 2026/27.”

Port Vale’s official 2026/27 home shirt will be available to purchase from Saturday 13th June at 9am, both in person at the Club Store and online via store.port-vale.co.uk.

Propelled by a new three-year strategy of its own – ‘One Vale’ – Port Vale Foundation delivers projects supporting health, education, inclusion and opportunity for people of all ages across the city. The One Vale strategy will focus on building belonging and powering potential.

Robbie is the first of several official Foundation ambassadors to be confirmed, with others to follow in the coming weeks and months. Through this partnership, he will use his platform to help amplify the Foundation’s impact and ensure more support reaches those who need it most.

Here’s how fans reacted after Port Vale announce a landmark two-year partnership with a life-long supporter Robbie Williams…

@MountfordCm: Got to get ” foundation” in there somewhere.

@SirSebastian20: I actually quite like it to be fair! 👌

@willmanUTV: Fuck me what is that 🤢🤢🤦🤦

@nodgers: I think it’s incredible 👌

@Bck2TheMovies: We can play home and away at the same time!

@Nicki_Jones72: OMG !!!! That’s stunning, love it !

@jackbmufc2312: Looks nice will need to see a proper picture but still looks good

@johndoeNo2: Nice that is 👍

@fraser_fraggle: Looks class that, loving the gold trim!!

@rstacey2012: I like it tbf. Not fave but I think it will grow on me

@BenWill76952707: The amount of people bashing RW is insane. Actually think about what you are saying. What attention does he get from “popping up once in a while” that he doesnt get from being a global superstar 😂😂😂 also hes literally giving us money now, so idk what people expect #pvfc

@TheValiants1876: Fair play I’ll hold my hands up from my earlier tweet with him getting involved in the foundation 🙌 #PVFC

@pvfcpatrick: I expected worse.. I quite like that

– @unofficial_vale: Nice to see Madge from Benidorm modelling our new kit. Based on all the folk who were fingering themselves in a tent on Hamil road days before Robbie’s concert, I imagine it’ll sell ok. Good job everyone 👍 #pvfc

@pvfcalex: Wow wow wow… that is beautiful 🤩 #pvfc

@Deji_billings: i can’t explain it but the black and white should be the other way around #pvfc

Fixed it 👍 #PVFC https://t.co/nmdxmjf7El pic.twitter.com/y2SrvEyofm
