Mansfield Town first-team coach Andy Garner, speaking to TNT Sports: “Yeah we can [believe it]. We said that to them at half-time, that we didn’t think there was anything to fear. We were a little disappointed in the first half with how much we gave the ball away, especially in the final third a bit sloppy at times.
“We said, ‘let’s get back into this game’ and we believed we could.”
On Louis Reed’s winner: “Incredible. He’s had a couple of free-kicks eariler this season. It was a good position in the centre and I fancied him to be honest to at least hit the target. But when it’s better than that and it goes in the top corner it is a fantastic finish.”
On going toe-to-toe with Burnley: “We didn’t want to come here and sit back. We wanted to go forward and have a go. We did that in the first 25 minutes but the quality wasn’t great and we are better than that. In the second half we improved and scored two very good goals.”

Burnley boss Scott Parker: “I don’t think the changes were the issue.
“The game should be practically out of sight first half, we missed glorious opportunities. Second half, really poor. We started poor, gave them something to hold on to and from that point never really affected anything. Just a really poor result.
“When you come off the back of a result that we had in midweek, you probably dampen the noise around the place a little bit.
“You come into this game wanting to get a result and keep that momentum and we’ve just applied that noise even more now, 10 fold, and rightly so.”
