La Liga giant, Real Madrid are reportedly getting closer to securing the signature of Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold for next season. The attacking full-back will be available on a free transfer as his current deal with The Reds will end this summer.

Madrid Are in Final Talks for Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Signing

Los Blancos continue to be one of the most wanted destinations for top footballers as following Kylian Mbappe’s arrival last summer, another star could arrive next season. Reports suggest that Madrid are close to securing Trent Alexander-Arnold’s signature.

Trent’s contract with Liverpool is up this summer and it looks like he won’t be extending his stay at Anfield. Renowned transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano reveals that both parties are still in talks to discuss details of the deal both are optimistic about it.

Liverpool Fans Disappointed with Trent’s Potential Departure

Although signs that the 26-year-old might be leaving Anfield have been visible even since the start of this current season, many Pool fans were still hoping that their youth product would remain. However, without any agreement regarding a contract extension reached with the Reds’ management, it looks like Trent’s departure is inevitable.

Madrid have been a keen admirer of the England international’s talent and seeing that he would be available of a free transfer, Los Blancos are ready to pounce. Trent could be set up as a replacement for Dani Carvajal who is not getting any younger and has been struggling with injuries in recent seasons.
