Torino and Juventus shared the spoils in a thrilling derby at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, with Dušan Vlahović’s double cancelled out by a Torino comeback led by Cesare Casadei and Che Adams.

Juventus dominated possession and expected goals in this Serie A encounter, but Torino refused to surrender despite being pegged back twice. The result leaves Juventus sixth on 68 points after 37 matches, while Torino remains 13th with 44 points. Both teams showed resilience in a match that swung back and forth, with neither able to claim victory.

Vlahović set the tone early for Juventus. The Serbian striker found the net in the 24th minute, drilling past Torino’s goalkeeper to give the visitors a commanding start. His movement and finishing proved troublesome for the home defense throughout the opening period.

Juventus controlled the first half with 56 percent possession and 425 total passes. They created chances consistently, with Vlahović their main threat. Torino offered limited resistance in the opening 45 minutes, managing just four shots on target as Juventus pressed for a second goal.

The half-time interval arrived with Juventus in control. They held a 1-0 advantage and appeared to be cruising toward three points. However, Torino needed to respond in the second period if they hoped to salvage anything from the match.

Vlahović doubled his tally in the 54th minute, latching onto a chance to extend Juventus’s lead to 2-0. The goal appeared to have settled the contest, with Juventus looking increasingly comfortable. Their expected goals figure of 1.98 suggested they deserved their advantage.

Torino sparked to life immediately after. Casadei pulled one back in the 60th minute, scoring to make it 2-1 and inject fresh energy into the home side. The goal transformed the atmosphere at the Olimpico Grande Torino, giving the hosts genuine hope of salvaging a result.

Juventus received a yellow card in the 64th minute when Kalulu was cautioned. The dismissal seemed to disrupt their rhythm as Torino pressed forward with renewed intensity. Momentum had shifted decisively toward the home team.

Adams struck the crucial equalizer in the 84th minute, firing past Juventus’s goalkeeper to level at 2-2. The goal sparked wild celebrations among the Torino faithful. Juventus suddenly found themselves fighting for a draw rather than chasing victory.

The final minutes saw both teams exchange chances. Zhegrova received a yellow card for Juventus in the 88th minute, while Ebosse was also cautioned for Torino. Neither team could find a winner, and the match ended in a stalemate.

Statistics told an interesting story. Juventus dominated with 56 percent possession and 85 percent pass accuracy. They created 15 total shots compared to Torino’s 11. However, Torino’s clinical finishing in the second half proved decisive in earning the draw.

This result affects both teams’ seasons differently. Juventus remain in sixth place, while Torino picked up a valuable point in their fight against relegation. The draw leaves questions about Juventus’s title credentials heading into the final stages of the season.
