Zigiotti now has three goals in United’s last five matches, having opened her WSL account straight from a corner against Aston Villa a fortnight ago, one week after notching against Burnley in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

“She is [playing with confidence], and we often speak about how important Ziggi is to the defensive part of our game, but when she came to Manchester United, I challenged her to be the aggressor, be better with the ball,” Skinner told MUTV post-match on Saturday.
