The 2025 European Championships is almost upon us, kicking off this Wednesday, July 2.

The Basic Basics
Starting on Wednesday, for four weeks this summer, in addition to being home to the world’s most expensive Big Mac, Switzerland will be home to the 14th edition of the EUROs; a tournament that has long since evolved from a four-team tournament held every two years, growing from eight to 12 to 16 teams, held quadrennially. Switzerland is hosting for the first time this summer and although the last two hosts (Netherlands in 2017 and England in 2022) went all the way to lift the trophy, La Nati may struggle to even get out of the group.
