After an action-packed Hungarian Grand Prix, the gap between team mates and title rivals Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris is down to just nine points. With so many questions left to be answered, team battles heating up, and the excitement continuing to build – the thought of no racing for three weeks? Painful.

As excruciating as the summer break is for fans (and us!), the break is welcomed by teams and drivers as a timely breather before the intensity ramps up again for the last 10 rounds of the season. It’s a compulsory break for all teams – so no working on the cars allowed!

So, whilst teams and drivers are getting their well-deserved R&R, here are eight things you can do to get your F1 fix for the next three weeks…

(Re)watch F1 The Movie

The movie of the summer, F1 The Movie is still in cinemas, and with the perfect blend of on-track action and off-track drama, it’s captured the attention of motorsport fans and filmgoers alike. It’s a must-see for any motorsport fan and, let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to watch their favourite driver deliver an award-worthy performance?

Already watched the movie and you’re wondering what to watch next? Why not start a summer watchlist: Senna (Netflix); The Seat (Netflix); Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story (Disney+), Schumacher (Netflix); Rush (Netflix); F1: The Academy (Netflix) and Drive to Survive (Netflix) are all essential viewing.

Dive into the archives

F1’s YouTube channel is packed with race highlights, iconic team radios, technical breakdowns, and F1 Explains podcast episodes to keep your knowledge topped up over the break. Want the full experience? Join F1 TV for complete race replays, onboard action, and season reviews from the past 50 years, it’s the ultimate archive for hardcore fans.

Sharpen your skills on F1 25

Whether you’re climbing the career ladder or setting purple sectors in the time trial mode, now is the perfect time to fine-tune your virtual racing craft on F1 25. Max Verstappen sure will be!

Upgrade your team kit

The summer break is the perfect excuse for a merch refresh. Grab the latest teamwear and rep your favourites in style, wherever you watch from. Can’t choose which team merch to rep? Get your hands on some F1 wardrobe essentials!

Test your knowledge on the season so far…

With 14 races already complete, so much has happened during 2025! How well do you remember the first half of the season? Head to one of our selection of quizzes on F1.com and see how you stack up. From historic heroes to race results and stats, prove you’ve got F1 knowledge on lock.

Visit F1 Arcade

Has watching F1 got you itching to try it yourself? Live the F1 lifestyle with your motorsport-loving mates at the F1 Arcades in London, Birmingham or Boston. Sim racing, food, drinks, and full fan energy – it’s the ultimate F1 hangout.

Go karting like Ollie Bearman

During the short break between Silverstone and Spa, Haas driver Ollie Bearman was seen sharpening his skills in karting, setting an impressive lap record (that lasted a few days…!). Now it’s your turn! Hit your local track or even take it up a notch at F1 Drive, Formula 1’s very own karting circuit in London. Whether you’re racing mates or chasing a lap record like Ollie, it’s the perfect way to channel your inner champion.

Plan your next Grand Prix weekend

If you’re anything like us – spending the summer break dreaming of grandstands and roaring engines, now is the time to start planning your next F1 trip! With countless ticket options, to travel and destination tips, the second half of the season (and 2026!) awaits…
