Your Feet Take A Beating Playing Golf. These Might Be The Best Recovery Slides Yet.

Stop what you’re doing.

I want you to take a moment to look down at your feet. Or, as the kids these days call them, your dawgs.

Heck, you could call ’em Lamborfeeties for all I care.

That’s not the point. The point is that you and I don’t think enough about them.

Yep. You need to think about feet way more often. Pause. That sounds crazy. But it’s true.

No one talks about the beating your feet take on a day-to-day basis. And surely no one talks about the impact that playing tens or hundreds of golf rounds per year has on one of the few parts of your body you can’t stand to lose.

Your feet deserve to be pampered, in a way that doesn’t inconvenience your significant other, massage therapist or whomever you choose to torment by asking for a foot rub.

A few years ago, NIKE and Hyperice revolutionized the way your feet recover with the Hyperboot. I’ve got the original pair, and still use them fairly often, especially when my plantar fasciatis rears its ugly head.

But the Hyperboot is clunky, bulky and hardly practical to wear on a day-to-day basis.

So NIKE and Hyperice decided to double down on their foot fetish with a new product, designed for daily recovery use.

Introducing the NIKE Air Zoom Hyperslide. You’ll notice the nomenclature here is a little different. The inclusion of “Air Zoom” in the name suggests that the Hyperslide is more than just a recovery tool; it’s a legitimate piece of footwear.

Let’s dive in.

Made to be worn

Let’s start here. The NIKE Air Zoom Hyperslide is made to be worn. Not just on days when you need the help of the on-board vibration and heat to get your feet feeling right (more on that in a minute). The Air Zoom Hyperslide features NIKE’s Air Zoom cushion for a reason.

A full-length Air Zoom bag runs the length of the footbed, ensuring that you feel comfort in every step.

And if the detachable Hyperpod (the unit that powers the recovery functions) it means that you could legitimately wear these to the grocery store if you want to.

Made for recovery

As you’d expect with a Hyperice integration, the NIKE Air Zoom Hyperslide is packed with recovery tech. Where the Hyperboot offered compression and heat, the Air Zoom Hyperslide brings vibration and heat to the table.

Powered by the detachable Hyperpod, the Air Zoom Hyperslide offers three levels of vibration and three levels of heat to dial in your personal preference.

By default, one recovery session lasts approximately 15-minutes.

Available soon(ish)

Stepping off of the golf course and into the NIKE Air Zoom Hyperslide sounds blissful, doesn’t it? The bad news: the Hyperslide isn’t available yet.

But it will be soon.

Starting Sept. 29, you can purchase the NIKE Air Zoom Hyperslide at NIKE, Hyperice, as well as select retailers like Best Buy and Golf Galaxy for $249.
