The ICE shooting in Minneapolis that left a 37 year-old female protester dead has drawn some strong responses from within the mixed marital arts community.
Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland weighed in with support for the ICE agent involved and the agency overall. UFC bantamweight Bryce Mitchell does not share Strickland’s view.
“If you’re just now mad at ICE, you must not have been watching my videos,” Mitchell said in a video post on Instagram. “They’re already killed 30-plus people this year. So this one citizen they killed, that’s just one of 30-plus in one year. They’ve killed hundreds of Americans. Hundreds of people. Just like that woman died, hundreds of people have died like that at ICE’s hands.”
The government has confirmed that 30 people have died in ICE custody but there’s no evidence that hundreds have. The outspoken Mitchell then made a strong allegation against American political leaders and a prediction about World War 3.

“What’s going on with World War 3 abroad? They’re going to collapse our country with war with Russia and China. That’s what’s going on,” Mitchell said.
“Some of ya’ll think the Navy is going to save you, or the Marines are going to save you. The Marines and the Navy ain’t going to do nothing to help the everyday Americans. They’re going to destroy our country following the orders of pedophiles. Our leaders are pedophiles. You can not win a war with pedophiles who hate your country leading your country into battle,” Mitchell continued.
“All of our finest soldiers are going to get decimated. They’re going to get setup. Nobody is going to save you except Jesus Christ.”
Mitchell has a grim outlook for America’s future and compared it to Sodom and Gomorrah. “Welcome to the slow collapse. And in a couple years our biggest cities will b gone,” he wrote.
“I’m going to tell you right now, America is going to burn. Revelations 18. Now, I do think it’s going to be several years. I think we are inching closer to that,” he said. “We’ve still got a couple of years where America is on top. Let me tell you something. It’s going to fall lickety-split when it does. This illusion of power this country has and this fake currency that we have is just going to be pulled right out from under our feet … This country is going to be destroyed.”
