Dakota Ditcheva believes her all-round game and forward pressure will be too much for Denise Kielholtz when they meet in a three-round, non-title flyweight bout at PFL New York on Friday, July 31. The undefeated Briton returns after a year away and faces an opponent she expects to bring more aggression than anyone she has previously fought.
Ditcheva, 15-0 in professional MMA, told Home of Fight’s Jake Noecker that Kielholtz has the tools to compete in every area, but said she expects the difference to show once the fight develops. “All around I just think the game that I present to her will just be too much for her to handle,” Ditcheva said. “We can both strike, we can both grapple, I just feel my game is gonna be a bit more advanced than hers come fight night.”
The fight is part of the main card for PFL New York: Nurmagomedov vs. Colgan at UBS Arena in Long Island, with Usman Nurmagomedov defending the PFL lightweight title against Archie Colgan in the headline bout.

Ditcheva has become one of PFL’s most prominent women’s flyweights through a run built around clean distance striking, knees and finishing ability. Her last appearance came in July 2025, when she suffered a broken hand in victory; a later planned date with Kielholtz was postponed after another hand injury. Despite the layoff, Ditcheva said she continued training during her recovery and views the matchup in familiar terms: focus on preparation, then impose her style.
Kielholtz arrives with considerably more combat-sports experience, though her MMA record stands at 9-5. The Dutch fighter, known as “Miss Dynamite,” is a former Bellator Kickboxing flyweight champion and has competed professionally in kickboxing since 2004. Her background also includes judo, where she won medals at Dutch championships before moving into striking competition.
Her kickboxing resume makes this a different assignment from Ditcheva’s recent PFL contests. Kielholtz has said she welcomes a striker-versus-striker matchup and believes her style will pose a new question for the British-Bulgarian. “She never faced an opponent like me before,” Kielholtz said at media day, adding that the two fighters share strong decision-making but have different approaches on the feet.
That is where Ditcheva’s confidence becomes central. She has acknowledged Kielholtz’s aggression and high-level striking, but sees her own mix of attacks as the key. If Kielholtz attempts to crowd the range and turn the contest into extended exchanges, Ditcheva will look to use her movement, kicks and knees to make those entries costly. If the fight moves into clinches or grappling transitions, Ditcheva believes she holds another edge.
There is no title on the line, but the matchup can shape the PFL women’s flyweight picture. For Ditcheva, a win would extend an unbeaten record after an interrupted year and reinforce her position near the front of the division. For Kielholtz, beating an undefeated PFL name would be the biggest MMA result of her career.
