Mike Perry hilariously endorses public brawl with Nate Diaz's crew

The announcement that Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry has been added to the highly anticipated Netflix MMA event has rightfully raised excitement among fans. While all eyes will be on their fight, the buildup to their clash will undoubtedly be one to remember.

Both Diaz and Perry are known for their brash, outspoken nature and complete unpredictability, which has earned them fan-favorite status over the years. Talk of the pair colliding has been heating up since late 2025, but nobody would have guessed it would be live on Netflix under Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions banner.

The event will feature several stars from the past and present, but we may not have to wait until May 16 to see the action unfold. According to Mike Perry, he is open to a brawl between his team and Nate Diaz’s if it occurs before their bout, as long as his wife isn’t targeted.

“Trust me, I’m going to play the game,” Perry stated. “We going to get violent, and if he wants to jump me with his boys, I’m here for it. Nobody stabbing, bro. Don’t be stabbing, bro. Because I’ve seen some jump videos and they start coming out of the woodwork. Just hit me, it’s alright. I’ll eat that.”

“Yes, I have to. Especially because my wife got to be at f***ing everything. So, it’s like, she better be ready. She been training and sh*t. Somebody, some girl. It better be only a girl. Please don’t even swing on my wife, she ain’t ready. She not a fighter. Just hit me. Just go for me and then me and my boys or whatever, I might have one or two. I don’t know. But fight week, I’mma have more.”

Mike Perry then amusingly took shots at Nate Diaz, making homosexual claims and ridiculing Diaz for being a father figure to the people he often hangs around with.

“[I’ll have] like three or four [people with me], I don’t know,” Perry continued. “I don’t be with a big squad. I ain’t f***ing gay, bro. I ain’t f***ing hanging out with 25 dudes. Yeah, I ain’t f***ing doing that sh*t. I ain’t got time to take care of everybody else. I don’t know. Nate’s been a father to these types of motherf***ers for years, right? Didn’t he say that? Well, I got kids of my own, and everybody got their own sh*t to do…”

“I don’t smoke blunts with people no more. After Covid, you hit the blunt, you coughing and sh*t. I ain’t smoking no blunt with nobody. I smoke that motherf***er to the face, dog. By myself I smoke that b*tch, if my wife don’t want to hit it.”

The announcement of the Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry fight has had a domino effect in the combat sports world. The booking of this matchup means the rumored McGregor/Diaz trilogy won’t take place anytime soon, if at all.

And Perry is relishing the opportunity to stop Conor McGregor from competing in one of his ideal return fights.

“I know Conor’s punching the air right now,” Perry said. “Me and Nate instead of his trilogy, ‘Ah, this damn Platinum Perry, king of violence.’ Working off my shine in bare knuckle. He ain’t never fought nobody in bare knuckle.”

“Conor, the world is excited to see you back in the ring. I know you working on it. I know you trying. I know UFC is giving you a hard time. So, we all look forward to seeing him back in the ring. I don’t know who he’s going to fight. I don’t think the [Michael] Chandler fight makes a lot of sense anymore. But, you know, he could fight me in bare knuckle maybe, if he wanted to.”
