Former UFC welterweight champion, Belal Muhammad, has always been looking for his “Nate Diaz moment” — but I doubt this is what he had in mind.
“I’ll fight Belal’s ass,” Diaz said in a recent video. “I think I’d beat the sh*t out of Belal Muhammad.”
Perhaps it was the cocaine talking?
“Must be on the same coke as Conor,” Muhammad replied on social media.
Muhammad is referring to former two-division champion Conor McGregor, who openly admitted to snorting cocaine during testimony at his recent civil trial.
In addition to Muhammad, Diaz has been taking shots at some of the top names in UFC ahead of his rumored return to the Octagon (see that hit list here).
“I plan on going back to UFC,” Diaz told The HJR Podcast. “If they’ll have me, I would like to go back and f—ing whoop someone’s ass there. It’s kind of slow rolling. I don’t really have a name in mind right now in the UFC. That’s why I’m not there right now.”
Diaz (21-13) turned 40 back in April.
