Since his return from rehab, many have questioned why Nick Diaz hasn’t been spotted with his brother, Nate Diaz. Those concerns may have now been revealed following Nick’s fiery social media rant.
The Diaz brothers always seemed inseparable during their time in the spotlight. Nick pioneered their approach to fighting, with Nate carrying that mantle on his back in the latter stages of his career. At every opportunity, the pair would say nothing but good things about one another, with Nate referring to older brother Nick as the greatest of all time.
However, their relationship has seemingly soured in recent times. Taking to social media to air out his feelings, Nick Diaz uncovered some battles he’s having in his personal life.
“To everyone talking about my life and how they want to control me, you never will again,” Nick Diaz said in a now-deleted post. “I was locked up for over a year and the ones I thought closest to me kept me there for their own motives.”
“That old man who keeps claiming to have my best interests and is the spokesman for my family should be discredited. Everything he says is bullsh*t, and I don’t want to hear it anymore from someone trying to hold me down with negativity, and all those YouTubers on his side are scammers starting sh*t for views. My circle is small now because of them, and I see now why it is that way.”
Nick went on to credit those who’ve stuck by his side throughout the tough times.
His wife, Kayla, and good friend, Martin Sano, were the two people to whom the MMA veteran showed love.
“My wife Kayla is there for me, she always had my back and best interests for me, and never held anything over my head for her benefit.”
“Martin Sano has also been a real one, and since the beginning he’s been hated on but nothing fazes him; he’s a real day one.”

Nick then called out his brother, Nate.
The 42-year-old urged his younger sibling to reevaluate the company he keeps.
“For my brother Nate, I don’t know what his issue is, but you need to cut out the sh*t talkers in your group to keep it real; they are embarrassing to be around.”
“Everyone, enjoy your lives, be positive, and enjoy your freedom.”
