The UFC octagon is in Seattle, Washington for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 252: Cejudo vs. Song event.
T’he fight card is headlined by a bantamweight match between former two-division champion Henry Cejudo and “The Kung Fu Kid” Song Yadong. Cejudo (16-4) is coming off back-to-back losses but those losses were to the current champion Merab Dvalishvili and former titleholder Aljamain Sterling.
Yadong (21–8–1, 1 NC) is ranked No. 8 in the 135-pound division. He’s also coming off a loss. He was defeated by former champion Petr Yan in his last outing. Yadong will be looking to get back in the win column and move into title contender status.
Yadong was the first fighter to weigh in and tipped the scale at 136 pounds. Cejudo came in at 135 pounds. All the athlete competing on the fight card successfully made weight.
