Watch Israel Adesanya puke during intense David Goggins workout

Israel Adesanya has overcome numerous challenges in his fighting career, but he may have met his match in the gym.

“The Last Stylebender” recently paired up with David Goggins, a fitness coach and motivational speaker infamous for his intense workouts, to improve his conditioning as he maintains his training between fights. In a YouTube vlog, Adesanya shared a revealing moment in which he vomited during a Goggins session.

This isn’t the first time Goggins has made headlines working with a UFC star. He famously worked with one-time interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson ahead of Ferguson’s fight with Paddy Pimblett at UFC 296. Unfortunately for Fergsuon, whatever they worked on did little to help him inside the octagon as he went on drop a unanimous decision to Pimblett and suffer a seventh consecutive loss.

Adesanya does not currently have a fight lined up as he considers the best path to end his own slump, currently at three fights. After winning back the UFC middleweight title from longtime rival Alex Pereira at UFC 287, Adesanya went on to lose consecutive fights to Sean Strickland, Dricus du Plessis, and Nassourdine Imavov.
