Anthony Davis’ potential return to the Dallas Mavericks lineup this season remains “TBD,” according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
“There are people close to the situation that are not convinced that [Davis] coming back is a good idea,” according to Stein.
Stein adds that the hesitation doesn’t necessarily have to do with Davis’ health.
“The discussion is, since this Luka [Doncic] trade…everything that could go wrong for this team has gone wrong. And in that kind of vibe, do you want to bring Anthony Davis back and just risk anything bad happening to him?” added Stein.
Davis, who practiced for one day with the Texas Legends, reportedly is determined to return to the court this season.
