NBA Trade Board 3.0: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis and others still available

We’re now less than two days away from Thursday’s NBA trade deadline. With Jaren Jackson Jr., Jaden Ivey and Nikola Vučević off the board after a few deals went down Tuesday (in case you missed our most recent trade board, check it out here), here’s a reset on the 10 most relevant names that could be on the move before 3 p.m. ET Thursday:

1) Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks

With the Bucks now officially listening to offers on Antetokounmpo, there is no one else who can top this list. It’s just a matter of whether any team can meet what will undoubtedly be an exorbitant asking price by Milwaukee general manager Jon Horst.

2) Anthony Davis, Mavericks

Davis is still an impact player when he’s on the court, dominating games with his length on defense. He just needs to stay on the court at some point, as he’s missed 29 games this season already.

3) Michael Porter Jr., Nets

Porter was arguably the biggest All-Star snub in the Eastern Conference after a tremendous start to his season. He’s making shots at the same efficiency he did in Denver, just with increased volume as a No. 1 option. As a star in Denver, he’s proven he can help a title team, too.

4) Ja Morant, Grizzlies

With Jackson heading out the door, the Grizzlies are headed toward a rebuild of their roster. The 26-year-old Morant no longer fits on that timeline, and the organization has been working over the last month to find him a new home.

5) James Harden, Clippers

Harden is having a better year than the two players ahead of him, but it’s hard for me to overlook the idea of him watching the Clippers win 16 of their last 20 games and then deciding to look for a new home. He’s averaging 25 points and nine assists for another killer regular season but hasn’t been effective in the playoffs in the last five years.

6) Darius Garland, Cavaliers

It’s possible Harden and Garland could just end up getting swapped for each other by the end of the deadline, and the Clippers and Cavaliers have discussed such a deal. I’m not quite as high on Garland as some, as he presents some serious defensive deficiencies. He also has missed quite a bit of time due to injury (he’s currently out with a toe sprain and missed the start of the season due to offseason toe surgery). But when he’s right, he’s a blur who is a three-level scorer and terrific passer.

7) Domantas Sabonis, Kings

The Kings have already swung a deal to clean their books further into the future by taking on De’Andre Hunter in exchange for Dennis Schröder and Keon Ellis. One landing spot for Sabonis could be Toronto if the Raptors can find a home for Jakob Poeltl.

8) Ayo Dosunmu, Bulls

The Bulls seem to be in teardown mode following deals involving Kevin Huerter, Mike Conley, Ivey and Vučević. Dosunmu and Coby White would seem to be next on the docket. Dosunmu is an unrestricted free agent this summer, and with a deal paying him less than $8 million this season, he has a wide market.

9) Coby White, Bulls

White is an unrestricted free agent this summer in the middle of an unfortunately injury-riddled year, but he has real scoring acumen and could help a contender.

10) Daniel Gafford, Mavericks

Gafford is a good defensive player on the interior who can protect the rim, and he plays a sharp, simple game on offense as a screen-setting rim-runner. He just signed an extension last summer that pays him about $54 million over the next three years.
