The Chicago Bulls are adding to the staff of new executive vice president Bryson Graham.
The Bulls are finalizing a deal with Stephen Mervis to become senior vice president of basketball operations and with Acie Law as vice president of player personnel, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Thursday.
Mervis has been the assistant general manager of the Orlando Magic for the past 12 years. He specialized in strategy and player evaluation.
Law was serving as director of player personnel for the Sacramento Kings, and previously was the director of amateur scouting for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also played four seasons in the NBA, including 2009-10 with the Bulls.
Graham was hired as the Bulls’ EVP last week and now begins to shape his front office.
