Kristaps Porzingis has agreed to a new two-year, $40-million contract with the Warriors, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Monday. The deal includes a player option for the second season.
Porzingis averaged 16.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocks while shooting 44.6 per cent from the field and 33.8 per cent from three in 32 games between the Warriors and Hawks in 2025-26.
The 30-year-old has struggled with injuries and illnesses over the past three seasons. But he is a former all-star and well capable of averaging 20-plus points a night.
The Warriors have their front-court ready for the new season, as they also locked up Al Horford on a two-year deal earlier this month.
