Warriors’ Draymond Green fined $50K for inappropriate comment to refs

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is $50,000 lighter in the pocket.

The NBA fined Green on Wednesday for “making an inappropriate comment that questions the integrity of game officials.”

The incident occurred Saturday during the Warriors’ 102-97 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series.

Golden State also fell 117-110 in Game 4 Monday and is now on the brink of elimination with Minnesota holding a 3-1 series lead.

Game 5 goes Wednesday night in Minneapolis.
