The “Road to Omaha” for 11 local clubs will become clearer as a loaded slate of conference championship tournaments commences throughout the country between Tuesday and Sunday.
As of Monday, Holy Cross was one win away from punching an NCAA tournament ticket as the top seed in the Patriot League Championship Series, while Harvard and Yale completed Ivy League runs over the past weekend.
Four local clubs captured regular-season championships in their respective conferences, with three set to be No. 1 tournament seeds during the busy week ahead.
