Some of the best Division 3 players in New England and beyond from the past few seasons found new homes this past offseason.
The NCAA Transfer Portal has given many of these one-time “diamonds in the rough” a chance to show themselves at the highest level, with top local programs like Northeastern, UConn and Boston College following the trend since its inception following the COVID-19 pandemic.
That will be the case again in 2026.
