After arriving from Wofford in September of 2023 to replace now-Penn State head coach Mike Gambino, Todd Interdonato has finally had a full year-long cycle to put his stamp on the Boston College program.
A season full of turnover in 2024 ended with the Eagles taking a step back in the standings, going 22-31 overall with an 8-22 mark in Atlantic Coast Conference play and missing the postseason a year after reaching the final game of a NCAA regional at Alabama. With the first pitch of 2025 approaching, the skipper feels strongly about the team’s state.
“The level of comfort and what to expect has certainly changed,” Interdonato said. “There was a much better understanding of what we had as far as returners, but even the guys that were newcomers. Whether they were recruited out of the portal or a high school player, you felt like you knew who they were, right?”
Here’s a look at BC’s strengths, weaknesses, and outlook for 2025.
