With the mid-April weather warmed up just a bit, New England’s Division 1 baseball programs were busy over the past week.
UMass headlined the weekend with its first-ever Mid-American Conference series victory against Eastern Michigan in sweeping fashion, while Yale maintained its hold of first place in the Ivy League with another series victory.
The recent stretch of play also included the start of the 35th Baseball Beanpot, which will culminate with this Tuesday’s title game between nationally ranked Boston College and Northeastern. The Eagles recently took to Fenway Park for their 14th Annual ALS Awareness Game.
