This is the first positive sign on the transfer portal market for the Zags. Izaiah Pasha, a 6-4 freshman guard from the Delaware Blue Hens out of the Colonial Athletic Association is said to be taking a visit to Spokane after the dead period, which ends on April 11th.

Pasha also plans on taking another visit to Lubbock with the Texas Tech Raiders. The Penn State Nittany Lions round out his final three schools and reportedly visited University Park already this past weekend.

The guard averaged 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game in just his first season of collegiate basketball. He shot 51.7 percent from the field, 33.3 percent on three-pointers, and 76.9 percent from the charity stripe. Pasha won the CAA Rookie of the Year after starting 33 of 34 games this past season.

Out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Pasha is a combo guard weighing 190 pounds and looks built/ready to make the jump for higher-level basketball competition. His consistency as a shooter needs improvement, but what he can potentially offer on the defensive end is intriguing for the likes of Gonzaga, Texas Tech, and Penn State.

It is evident that in the transfer portal this offseason, Gonzaga coach Mark Few is looking to build up his 2025-26 backcourt with the departure of Ryan Nembhard, Nolan Hickman, and Khalif Battle.
