Bracketeer’s Rocco Miller announced that Gonzaga will host the Campbell Fighting Camels out of the Coastal Athletic Association on December 17th. Last season, the Fighting Camels finished with a 15-17 overall record, 10-8 in conference play with a fifth-place finish in the standings.

Sources: Gonzaga will host Campbell as part of its 2025-26 non-conference schedule. The date is set for Wednesday, December 17th in the Kennel.#WCC #CAAHoops

— Rocco Miller (@RoccoMiller8) July 3, 2025

Campbell was originally a part of the Big South Conference from 2011 through 2023 before making the switch to the CAA. It’s a new era for the program with John Andrzejek preparing for his first season as the head coach. He was previously an assistant coach under Kyle Smith at Washington State from 2019-23 and an assistant coach under Todd Golden from 2023-25. Andrzejek won the national championship with the Gators in 2024-25.

Here is how Gonzaga’s 2025-26 non-conference schedule is looking so far:

Kraziness in the Kennel (McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane) – October 4th

Oklahoma (Spokane Arena) – November 8th

Creighton (McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane) – November 11th

Alabama (Las Vegas) – November 24th

Maryland (Las Vegas) – November 25th

Players Era Festival – November 26th

Kentucky (Bridgestone Arena in Nashville) – December 5th

UCLA (Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle) – December 13th

Campbell (McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane) – December 17th

Arizona State (Desert Financial Arena in Tempe) – TBD

Baylor – Both date and location TBD

Gonzaga should have a couple more tune-up buy games in the works before or after a tougher matchup, like say Kentucky, UCLA, or even before heading off to Las Vegas for the Players Era Festival. Those are necessary for every high-major program in the country.

As for the last West Coast Conference schedule for the Zags, it opens up on Sunday, December 28th. Here are the matchups for the 18-game slate with the dates/times to be announced later:

Home: LMU, Pacific

Away: Oregon State, San Diego

Home and Away: Saint Mary’s, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Washington State, Seattle, Portland, Pepperdine
